New from DuBois, PA
Hello all. I'm Steve Johnson from DuBois, PA and work as a paramedic for two EMS services. I've recently become very interested in real estate investing after finding out about the various ways to get started with little or no money (since being a paramedic I don't have any). My current employment does provide some advantages for real estate investing, the main one being a schedule that gives me several whole days free to pursue and work on new opportunities. I'm very motivated in making this investment thing work. I don't want to be like other people I see at 60 years old, or older, loading 350lb patients in the back of an ambulance and having no real money for retirement.
A major obstacle I see right now is the small size of the community I live in and its distance from any major metro areas. I might have to branch out from my own back yard sooner than I was wanting to. Currently, I am getting started with wholesaling, and I mean just getting started. I decided to avoid analysis paralysis and was out until 11pm last night putting up my first signs. What I'm going to do if I get a call I have no idea. I have no buyers lined up yet and I have a lot to learn. I am hoping the people here will be able to give me a little knowledge and encouragement. I'm looking forward to talking with y'all (originally from GA).
Steve
