Hello, new investor in the Metro East (illinois area)

Hello, my name is Traci. First, I would like to say that BP is a wonderful site full of helpful users. I've been reading for months but finally decided to start posting. I live in the Belleville, IL area for over 15 years. For many years, my passion is real estate investment but I have put this on hold for over a decade after starting a family. I work full-time for the federal government and but would like to do REI part-time. My husband is an excellent handyman that can do anything!! I have studied the area's RE market, bought books and read numerous hours on BP. Right now, I feel financially ready and would love to get started. I am focusing on single family houses to flip and also for rental in the Belleville, Fairview Heights, O'fallon, and Shiloh area.

If you are in the Metro East area, please let me know if you can assist in recommending a Title Company, RE attorney, inspection company, plumber, electrician, roofer, etc.....
