Trying to start in North Texas

With a background in defense procurement and remodel construction I have been trying to find the right house to get started.

Unfortunately we lost our money guy so I am looking into new ways to fund my projects.

Interested in very low dollar flips (including mobile homes if possible). This is something I should have done 2 years ago but didn't have the courage. Now, with absolutely no resources and my back against the wall I am ready to start being smart and build a future for my family.

Ultimate goal is to have some investments that can help me teach my children to build their own future. My personal goal is to get into flipping for the pure rehab of it. My hope is to reuse what is already there or build new with as little impact on the world as possible.

To that end I would like to businesses: fix and flip for modest income families, and build from scratch environmentally responsible homes (thinking earthship and the like). This may be a romantic idea with slim margins but one must dream.

George
