My name is Ed Fitzwater.  I have done a variety of jobs in the past and look forward to my venture into Real Estate investing. I now live in the Denver, CO area after living in Las Vegas for nearly 40 years. I became a BiggerPockets member after finding the website online when I was doing some research after attending a Real Estate seminar. I look forward to learning from anyone that would like to share their knowledge.

I don't have much Real Estate experience aside from purchasing my own houses in the past. I am hoping to hit the ground soon with some flips. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I hope to start out flipping houses to begin with and then move on to owning a few rentals. I am hoping that I will be able to quit my job before long and concentrate solely on Real Estate investing. I would like to make enough money doing this so that my wife could also quit her job and so we would have time and money to visit our kids and grandkids more frequently.

Thanks!

Welcome Ed! Great goals and definitely not out of reach. Try investing in 1 flip and 2 rentals. The rentals are going to build your portfolio for residual income and the flips will build your funds to continuously turn for profit and investments.

Make sure to do research on the areas for your Flips and most importantly your rentals. NEVER PAY Contractors upfront. Pay in draws. (Pretty important you learn this upfront)

Hope this helps some.

Jessica
