Newbie intro

My wife Jody and I joined BP a few months back but really started getting into a lot of the content provided. So far the education is amazing and we are doing a lot of planning on where we want to take all this information to form our own real estate business. We currently live in Moore County, NC (Carthage) and are looking in this area as well as the Raleigh/Cary area for possible investment opportunities in the near future. Our goal is to begin growing a rental property portfolio while working on our own "live in flip" which we purchased last year and have been working on over that time doing most of the work ourselves. We are extremely excited to see what opportunities arise in the future and to get more involved in what BP has to offer.

Thank you so much for the advice, we can definitely use all we can get. We are definitely want to take our time, we want to make sure we are well versed and making good decisions before jumping in. Right now we are actually assembling our team we have an agent and in the next few months my wife will be going to get her license as well. @Michael Lee it would be great to have someone of your experience to chat with I will shoot you a message thank you for the offer. @Paul Timmins that's great advice thank you. We have been looking at some of the REIA meetings in the area, some are a bit out of our area >1hr but we are going to try to go to as many as we can over the next few months to network more and learn since we know there is a ton we can take from them. There was actually a recent message from an investor closer to our area about starting one nearer to here which we are hoping happens so we can get some more local faces. Those are great resources for the property managers I haven't seen them before I will definitely search them and get some numbers and make some calls over the next couple of days.
