Hi everyone. I first heard about Bigger Pockets while searching for my first house.  While I was mostly looking at single family residences, I also considered two or three flats as a way to offset some of my mortgage payments.  After losing several houses to flippers & developers, I decided to better understand how these buyers go about finding and evaluating properties. Along the way, I realized that real estate investing might be interesting. I like working on projects, I'm detail oriented, and I have a background in building design. This seems like a great way to invest excess income in something tangible. I haven't spent too much time navigating the site, but at this point I'm looking to better understand the fundamentals. If anyone has any suggestions for resources or threads to follow, please let me know.
