New Memeber from San Joaquin Count

Hello I am a new member from California's Central Valley (San Joaquin County).  As I am new to this medium, I am looking at all my options (buy and hold, flip, wholesaling).  I am not beholden to investing solely in my backyard, and am willing to look at opportunities outside of my area.  I have not done a deal yet, and am currently in fact finding mode to try and familiarize myself more and more with housing before taking the plunge.
