Hi! I am a native New Yorker and recently (within the last 3 months) decided to seriously switch gears from renting to home ownership. I am interested in a multi-family owner occupied property in Brooklyn or Queens. While I am in the beginning stages of this process with researching and saving, I gladly welcome any advice offered by the BiggerPockets community for a  beginner like me.
