High school junior from Albany NY

Hey everyone! I'm currently in High School, but have been reading the BP forums, listening to BP podcasts, and have read a few books on Real Estate Investing (Manny Khoshbin's book + Rich Dad Poor Dad). I started out importing items from China and selling them through Amazon (2013), have run a lawn care business starting with my close neighbors and expanding to anyone who would hire me within a two mile radius (yes I rode my lawn mower on the side of the road b/c I didn't have my license), and have had experience flipping on craigslist (lawn mowers -> cars). I've talked to a few people in the real estate game and have been told that I should educate myself as much as possible in this next year on Real Estate and hit the ground running once I turn 18. I'm specifically interested in starting out by wholesaling houses to generate some capital, then moving on to fix + flip homes, and in the end developing properties as I grow my portfolio. As I have a good year (and two months) left before I turn 18, I'm wondering if there's anyone in the Albany area who knows someone in Real Estate that needs a helping hand. I'm certainly willing to forgo pay in exchange for the valuable experience I'd receive. Thanks!!
