Hi Everyone! I am new to Bigger Pockets. A good friend of mine referred me and I have been on this site for hours now. I love the community aspect and all the great advice I've read thus far. I have downloaded the PDFs and plan to start reading this weekend. 

I am not only new to Bigger Pockets, but new to the Real Estate world. I grew up around homes and renovations due to my dad being a General Contractor, so it's always been an interest to me. 

I live in the NJ/NY area and would like to link with any wholesalers and investors nearby. (I am also open to the DMV area.) With my current job, I know that networking is key, so I am very much so open to it. 

Again, I am completely new to real estate so any great tips for beginners would be greatly appreciated from any and everyone. :)
