Financial Analyst and New Investor

I finally got around to making an account on here after listening to many BiggerPockets podcasts. So a little bit about me, I'm 21, I am a financial analyst for a very large, international company based out of NY. I live on Long Island, in Nassau County. Nassau has been "distinguished" as one of the most expensive counties to live in, in the United States. So I'm guess that getting onto the ground floor of investing here will be tough, but I'm up for a challenge. If there is anyone in the area, I would love to pick your brain and see what you have to offer. I am very interested in section 8 housing. A few business associates of mine own section 8 property and they are very happy with it. Look forward to hearing from you!
