I'm new to the bigger pockets website, but have been listening to the podcasts for about a month (also pretty new there). I purchased my first deal, a three unit property, in 2003 that I lived in and rented to cover expenses. I learned a lot on that first deal, that I am still paying for and learning from today. My next two deals have been purchases to live in, then move on and rent, single family properties. One Ive been renting for 4 years, and the other that is just now transitioning to the rental market (we will see how that goes). I would like to invest more, and make real estate my main source of income.
