New Investor in Los Angeles CA

Hello Bigger Bigger Pockets!

My name is Chris and...

...I've finally taken the first step and made an account here on the site.  I've been listening to the podcasts, stalking the forums and reading the articles and decided just a few days ago to start an account. (Yay me!)  This site has been an excellent resource for me and way of gaining knowledge in the real estate investment business and just in life in general.

I am a newbie investor.  I purchased a property back in January for way under market value, with a plan to buy and hold this one; and was able to rehab the property with a contractor in about 4 weeks.  His team did most of the work and I handled a few odd jobs here and there as well as the landscaping. (I will post the before and after as well as more info about the property and purchase price etc. in another thread) I went through an extensive application process, and finally chose a tenant after about 3 weeks of screenings and I am happy to say I am currently in my first month as a Landlord.

I am hoping to continue investing and gaining knowledge by using this site as well as linking up with other investors.
