New member from Miami

Hello everyone, 

My name is Amber, I worked retail for many years (since I was 16) living paycheck to paycheck. I'm 24 years old currently in school working towards a bachelors. I don't think I'll continue the pursuit towards a bachelors as I don't see an end goal worth the debt. I have been self educating myself through BiggerPockets and other sources and plan on obtaining my real estate license in the near future. I'm currently very interested in wholesaling. I understand the leg work involved and I'm willing to do it. Before I leap I'd like to be comfortable with the legalities of working with a seller and contract, also learning more about how escrows work. If anyone has links, comments, or general knowledge to share, I'd appreciate it.

@Jordas Reyes Nice to see so many Floridians! I agree with the real estate class. I would like to take many paths in real estate, at least while I'm starting to get a good fit where I belong. Having full access to the MLS is a perk as well as confidence building, at least in my case. Lucas Machado made a good point that immersing yourself in the actual work is what ultimately settles the nerves.

Good luck with the class and exam, I'm hoping to take the class sometime in April. BP covers so much I'm sure you'll do great!
