Hey BP family! I am very excited to be a member of this site and community, what a wealth of knowledge and networking opportunities! Thank you Brandon and Josh for all that you do, the Podcasts are especially inspiring.

I am totally new to Real Estate, although I have considered it as a second career for many a year. I am constantly on zillow, have been for years, looking at deals, watching my neighborhood rise in value, keeping tabs on the market, and wishing I could own some rentals. I finally decided it's time to stop dreaming and start doing. I look forward to meeting you all in the forums, and hope one day I can be the experienced investor giving sage advice to the newbies of the future. 

As an aside, I would like to start a newbie club in Detroit, (see my post in the local forum, or respond here if you want.) My idea is to share our experiences starting out, recommend books, keep each other accountable, etc., just learn together!
