As the title says, I'm new to the area. I just moved here from northern Arizona. I own a carpet cleaning business in Flagstaff,AZ.  I was a Realtor there part time as well and now I'm full time here in Texas. I've been interested in the real estate investment world for many years and getting to the point in my life where I need to make the jump. BP has been a HUGE motivational and learning platform for me. I'm slowly making my way through the podcasts starting from pod1. I joined the BP environment to further my real estate and investing career, to meet like minded people, to help as I can with what knowledge I have and to ultimately make the jump! I'm 100% open to suggestions, comments, criticism, networking, etc. I'd like to meet someone or many people in the area that wouldn't mind me shadowing projects to get a "hands on" experience. I'm doing my best to attend as many networking events in the area. Bottom line is, I WANT TO LEARN. Thx for the read and Good Luck in your endeavors.

Brandon:

I live in Michigan but am a member of  a Texas-based real estate investment education and mentoring group called Lifestyles Unlimited.  They have offices in DFW (Las Colinas), and monthly have a free "case study" night to get to know about how they operate.  It would be the best way to not only get educated quickly but also get networked into the community fast.   Plus, you could even become a vendor and get new business for your carpet cleaning business.
