New Investor in Raleigh

Hey everyone. I am a new investor to this site. My dad is a real estate investor and has several apartment complexes and I love his life style. I am a pretty good property manager but I am not good at finding the "deals" on properties. I know it is all about location with job growth and population growth. Raleigh has both of those. Can anyone give me some advice on where to look for properties under their intrinsic value?

I've found that there are a number of investors in the Triangle area.
