Hi all!  I am new to BiggerPockets, and new to real estate investing in general.  I'm currently in the "education" phase of my investing journey, and so happy I found BiggerPockets!  There is so much information to help new investors to get started, as well as an active and friendly community that seems always willing to assist.

My primary focus to start is going to be buy/fix/flip single family homes, with an ARV of $150,000 or less. Then down the road I would like to leverage that capital into rental properties for passive income. The end goal would be around 10 rental properties within 8-10 years.

I'm currently reading the BiggerPockets The Book on Flipping Houses, and also have The Book on Estimating Rehab Costs to dive into next, as well as using all the information on BP to my advantage (Podcast, Video Course, Forums, etc).  I just hope I don't fall into "analysis paralysis"!

If anyone has any other suggestions on sources for learning I'm all ears... or if you happen to be in my market I would love to take someone out to lunch (maybe a beer) to pick their brain.  Everyone likes a free lunch!

Thank you all for your time, and I'm looking forward to being an active member of this community!

Regards,

Jason
