Hi,

I am currently living in Houston.  I am new to the forums, so wanted to say Hi.

Last year I got my first rental by purchasing a new house and renting out the old one.  So it really was a 'dipping my toe in the water' deal.  We had lived in that house for 20 years, so it was a bit of a job to pack up the family and move.

I do have a goal of purchasing another property this year.  The current plan is taking a line of credit on the rental house for the down on the new property.  I know some of you guys move really fast, but I am slow and steady and interested in the buy and hold method.

Mike
