My name is Katie and I am a Texas girl through and through. I'm in the process of developing my plan for full-time investing. I'm hoping to get started small with wholesaling and partnering in order to get my feet wet and move on to bigger investments. I've been investing in my network and education for the last six months. Currently I'm seeking out mentors and partners for future deals. I'm interested in single-family, multi-family, and small apartments.

Welcome to BP Katie. Austin has a lot of BP members and would encourage you to take advantage of any local meetups to start networking, finding your niche and looking for mentors and partners. I've done SFR and small MF, now moving into larger apts. If I can be of any help, let me know. There is a MF meetup group that meets every Tuesday at 11:30am at the Flying Saucer (just moved from Abels) around 47th and Lamar area (the Triangle). There are several wholesalers and a broader niche discussion every Thursday 11:30 (Harold McGee hosts...at Big Daddy's restaurant Burnett/I-183). If you want to meet for a coffee chat let me know, that is always a good way to further develop partnerships and contacts outside of the meetups.
