I have been listening to the BP podcast the last few weeks (up to episode 25) and decided to take the plunge and create an account so I am introducing myself to the BP community.

I accidentally got into real estate investing.  When my wife and I bought our single family home after owning a townhouse, we listed the townhouse for sale.  After a year on the market and not getting the price we wanted, I reluctantly decided the best thing at the time was to rent it out and buy some time.  Well, a year and a half later and it's been a nice cash flow property while learning about being a landlord in the process.  It was a good start and I'm currently looking at adding to our inventory.

9 months ago, I decided to bite the bullet and get my real estate license since I knew I wanted to invest and figured the sooner I got my license, the better.  So I now have my license and actively looking for the next deal while trying to take in all the information I can.

Not sure how many BP members are in central PA, but looking forward to connecting with some members in the area.
