Thought I would throw is out there and stop just reading.

I have been interested in real estate for a very long time and even majored in it at the University of Denver. Currently, I am working for a company leasing apartments. I would really like to get into investing but am having a hard time knowing where to start. My parents are small investors but they are in Colorado so their connections don't help me here in Wisconsin.

I am looking to learn as much as I can and meet people in and around Madison. I would really like a mentor or just help knowing where to start.
