Hello All.  I am a resident of Los Angeles, CA.  After 26 years of practicing Criminal Law, I have decided it is time for a career change.  Well,  perhaps not change, but diversify.  I am very interested and have longed to get involved in real estate investing; more particularly wholesaling and rehabbing.  I have decided that now is the time.  I have a Real Estate Broker's License in my back pocket (8 years now) and have done absolutely nothing with it.  I have not purchased or sold a single piece of property with it.  All that is about to change.  I have joined the BP Community and have been attending local real estate club meetings.  I will be attending a 3 day real estate workshop at the end of the month.  I have been invited as a guest.  I plan to attend and obtain whatever nugget or motivation I can get therefrom.  I am prepared for the upselling that will occur but have no intentions of becoming a statistic.   It is my goal to become a real estate investor immediately or die trying.  I am hoping that my membership here will shorten the learning curve for me, keep me motivated, and hopefully I can join forces with like minded people.  My goal is do my first deal before year's end.  I just need a little help getting educated and staying focused and motivated.
