Newbie from New York City
Hello BP!
My name is Luke Mellon. I live in NYC currently, however I am from Saratoga County in Upstate NY. I have zero background in Real Estate aside from the ~10 BP Podcasts I recently listened to that brought me to this Community.
I work full time as a Service Delivery Manager for Cisco System's where I manage an IT Professional Service's accounts for a large customer. I briefly lived in NC which is a possible market for me.
My goals for Real Estate are to use a buy and hold approach via purchases of multi-unit apartments. I have also been intrigued by wholesaling between buy and hold opportunities.
I have a good amount of education left. While I finish reviewing the UBG I'd like to review possible markets to enter, narrow the options and research the market. After my education and as I become more familiar with a preferred market I will be reading my financials and required paper work.
I look forward to and help this Community can offer and the potential to network with folks in the NYC, Albany/Saratoga, and Raleigh/Durham areas.
Excited to be here! - Luke
