Hello, I am currently finishing up my last semester of college. Thank god, because i want to start my own business. I believe after doing the research Ive done so far, and listening to BiggerPockets podcast id like to just start out as a side business, extra income and start real estate investing. Id like some pointers and ideas on how to start this business as well as if its a good idea at such a young age?

Thanks,

Brandon Timm

Hi Brandon!

Welcome to BP! If I could go back in time I would buy a small multi to live in. You can do this even while you are in school. I am assuming you are in Bloomington Normal for school, so there is definitely multifamily housing available. They call that strategy "househacking" on BP, but it is as old as the hills...

Good luck!

John
