Hi my name is Godfrey and I've always been around real estate but had never really had the guts to do anything about it.  

I have a goal to be financially independent within 10 years and I realized the only way to achieve it was to make my largest assets work for me and therefore I've made commitment this year to start actively investing in real estate.  To reach those goals, I'll need to be comfortable in not only investing locally, but also overseas.

I've read quite a bit and listened to many podcasts, its now time for action. 

I'm interested in building relationships and learning more about what other investors have done in this crazy Canadian market, experience investing state side/overseas, and corp structuring and tax planning.

Open to all aspects of investing to build my capital base but the end goal is buy and holds.
