I am new to Investor From North Carolina and I Here to expand my knowledge. I have been studying real estate for a few years now, reading, podcast, audiobooks, etc; While saving for my first Rental.

I am finally looking to buy my first Single Family home in the next few weeks to test the waters. I am in this for the long haul and would love to connect with as many local investors as possible.

Hello and welcome to BP!  I was born and raised in Dallas Texas.  I have never been east of the Mississipi.  I am 59 years old and I found BP about 6 months ago and I am still deciding what to do. Even though You did not say I will assume your younger than me.  You picked a nice way to go.  Just remember that your knowledge of the market you choose and the locations you choose are very important. Watch out if you are ever tempted to go to a market you don't know about.  I got a college education in business that emphasized in real estate.  That same year, in 1980, I got a broker license.  I closed a few deals for others.  My father  is in real estate for about 40 years and I have learned a little bit from him.  Be patient and consistent.  Real estate deals are about quantity.  The more you offer the better.  Just make sure the owner knows why you offered less than what they are asking and make sure they understand your reasoning.  I have a lot to offer so if you think I could help you please contact me through BPat any time.  Good luck!
