New Property Manager

Hello everyone. So I'm new here, obviously. I've heard this is the best community for landlords/property managers/owners. My brother is buying a number of properties in Minneapolis/St. Paul and has asked me to manage them. So I'm very new to all of this. I've never managed a property before. "How hard could it be?" he naively asked.

My brother closed on 2 properties this week and it is already a lot of work, but it's been fun. I love learning how to do more things (like moving pipes through walls). Luckily, my brother-in-law has experience and has been super helpful.

I have a pretty important question that I tried to search on here, but the keywords all bring up another obvious topic. Either my brother or I has to become a company so he can pay me and he asked me to because he doesn't want to at this point. I have no idea how to do that and Google hasn't helped at all. Any search on this site or Google that contain the words "property manager" and "company" instantly brings up "Best property manager companies" and similar such results. If anyone could help me out on this, I would really appreciate it.

I look forward to being a part of this awesome community!
