I'm a 55 year old retired auto dealer who has done a little real estate investing along the way.  My wife and I moved to Prescott, AZ a couple of years ago and just love it.  Arizona is beautiful and is very stable economically.  I'm looking to transition from stocks and bonds into real estate on some level.  The stock market roller coaster ride has gotten old, although we're not considering getting out totally.  Though I am open to that possibility.  We'll see.

Hi Andy,  I have owned 2 properties in Prescott since 2007.  One I rented after my daughter completed 3 years at Prescott College until last summer.  My wife and I are drawing up plans to add on to that house and retire there in the next year or so.

The other house is an investment property.  Last May I contracted with Rent Right to have them manage the property since I was straining to manage it from TX,  They are customer oriented so I have had nothing but good results thus far.  One of the owners is Michael Yarnes.  He is a wealth of knowledge  He is married to Cody Anne Yarnes who is a very successful real estate agent in Prescott.  I lean on both of them now for references in the area  I don't think you can go wrong getting their insight on the current real estate market.

Best of luck!
