Real Estate Investor in Oklahoma

Hello Everyone,

My name is Nhia Yang and I am fairly new to REI, residing in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I have done much reading about investing in RE, and I believe it is time I take action. Just in case it crossed your mind --- my first name, Nhia is pronounced as "Knee" "Yeah" altogether (I get asked often).

Although I plan to learn more and apply various investing strategies (wholesaling, foreclosure, rehabbing, etc.), I am most specifically interested in multi-family properties (duplexes, apartment communities, etc.).

I would love to hear from you all as to how each of you got started in REI, what kept you all going, financing/negotiating advice for newbies like me, recommendations to find mentors, and other qualified members in your team --- anything you wished someone told you before you started your investing journey --- is helpful and always greatly appreciated. I hope to form lifelong relationships with each of you and be of assistance to you in any way I can now and in the future. Thank you, and I wish you all success!
