I'm a family man and a cautious, safe-side, mutual fund investor. I have long enjoyed studying the real estate market.  Countless times my wife and kids and I have have discussed what our dream home would be like. I never really comprehended real estate investing as a reality for me. But with advice from Brandon Turner, Paul Esajian, Dave Ramsey, Robert Kiyosaki, Dan Miller and others, it's time to get started pursuing my dreams.

I'm not a high roller (yet...), but am eager to get my feet wet. Looking to creatively fund and turn-over one fix-n-flip project this year.  That's my goal, just one.  I need the experience, and maybe with God's blessing, I can turn a profit as well.

Can it be done successfully, on the side in spare time, by a Newbie in the next 10 months?
