Hi.  I heard of and joined Bigger Pockets today after going to a seminar put on by Al Williamson in Sacramento.  It was great, and everyone there spoke highly of Bigger Pockets as a resource.  I own one rental property in Mississippi, but I want to learn more about the fundamentals of a sound real estate investment strategy before I acquire more properties locally.  My goal is to generate passive real estate income and protect wealth I'm building from other businesses.  I think that means getting into multi-family rentals, but I don't really know.  Currently I work in state government and own a recreational sports facility.
