My name is Rich Rivera and I am from Hoffman Estates IL. 

My wife and I are fairly new to this. We own a couple of rental properties but we acquired them by first living in them and then upgrading to a better house. Instead of selling our prior properties we decided to keep them and rent them out. That decision has worked for us so far. So, now we are looking to continue investing in property and building a steady stream of income. 

It is great to be a part of this community. I have already learned so much by reading your posts and watching some of the podcasts.
