Brand Spankin new wannabe real estate investor

Hello BiggerPockets!!! I am an investor located in Suwanee, Georgia with zero experience in real estate.  I am a forced landlord and have seen the benefit of owning real estate.  Majority of my education is theoretical at this point.  I am going through several of the BiggerPockets podcasts and the free beginner course.  I am trying to build up courage and confidence to find a foothold in this vast and very confusing industry.  At this moment in my life, I am attracted to real estate investment because of its promise and potential to generate some passive income to give me some comfort knowing that my family is taken care of no matter what happens to me or my job.

After listening to a few BiggerPockets shows and Radical Personal Finance Shows, I am leaning towards Buy and Hold rental properties for passive income.  I have not read any books, or done deep research to add my knowledge.  

Looking forward to engaging actively in BiggerPockets community and becoming a learned investor.
