American, living overseas, looking to invest back in America

Hello! My name is Mike Orbinpost. I have been listening to the Bigger Pockets podcast for the past several months, and am now getting serious about starting investing in real estate. I currently live in Korea, but am interested in investing back in the US.

I am interested in rental properties to eventually provide long term income. Because of time and distance involved I am currently interested in turnkey properties, primarily on the east coast, as that is where I am from. My intent is to use turnkey properties to start my practical education on long term buy and hold rentals.

At this point, I am going through the forum and blogs to try to clarify my vision of my goals and business plan. Thanks for the great forum, and I look forward to working with the community!
