New member soon to move to North Atlanta

I want to buy a house for our young family in the North Atlanta Metro area. Although this is my initial goal, eventually I want to invest in real estate as a part-time job. Although I like my profession, I don't want to be working 8-5 PM for the next four decades. I look forward to BP member's advice on general investing, buy and holds and multi-family.
