New member from Colorado

Greetings all. I am a new member from the Denver metro area. I am currently building a tiny house to live in to greatly reduce my monthly expenses and travel more freely. I currently work as a software engineer and with the reduced expenses I would like to get into REI to get out of the rat race. That being said I will have available a couple thousand dollars a month to start marketing with. I would like to get started with wholesaling, which I know is currently very difficult in the Colorado market. Now I know the general flow of what goes on with wholesaling but I don't know the specifics of once you find a potential deal what do you do around paper work and whatnot. So with this I would like to partner with someone once I find that potential deal(s) to walk through everything that happens. Eventually I want to get to buy and holds and generate the passive income to quit my regular job. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey @Ian McCaul.  Welcome to BP!

A great way to pick the brains of other investors in our area is to attend several of the monthly meetups.  The next one in Denver is on Monday (the 15th) at the Denver Bicycle Cafe 6 pm.  You'll meet all kinds of different investors, including wholesalers.  There's a monthly meetup in Erie as well which someone may post the info or you can search it.

Looking forward to meeting you - I'd love to hear about your tiny house progress.

Theresa
