Hello all, my husband and I bought our first piece of real estate investment 6 months ago. We purchased a foreclosure, fixed it up and are now renting it out. We have talked about doing this for years and were so excited to finally take the leap. What we didn't realize was how fun it was going to be to fix up the property! We did all the work ourselves and really enjoyed it. There were times that were stressful and I think we could of killed each other, but all in all it was really fun. Our intended plan was to just be landlords, acquiring property when we could, in addition to that we would also like to flip some properties and are just trying to learn as much as we can to achieve that goal.
