Hi there,

I am a freelancer, marketer, and wary investor. I have purchased three homes, lived in them while renovating/updating, and sold. I've made some mistakes -- one took a very looooong time to sell -- but mostly come out okay. I have no plans to do real estate investing full-time. At this point I know I'll have to continue to work in cubicles and coffee shops in the suburbs of various Western United States for the foreseeable future.

However I am interested in buying a property, fixing it up, and renting it out. I think a duplex would be a good option.

I am in and out of forums, groups, and seminars for learning, work, and fun. I hope to understand more about investing in a non-disclosure state (making a good offer), dealing with renters, and potential pitfalls.

Thanks for having me.

Rici
