Hey all, I'm new to this site and, perhaps, a future landlord.

My end goal is to be able to have a decent income from renting out alone, I'm not here looking to have over $50,000 income annually within 2 years, but I am looking to have a goal minimum of at least $20,000 income annually by 5 years, hopefully more.

That said though, I've little to no idea as to how to begin. Doing research right now, but I've still only barely scratched the surface of this. In fact I'm trying to find a veteran real estate investor near my area ( Toledo, Ohio ) that I can perhaps be an assistant of or intern at some place. As right now, I work full time making sushi for a restaurant near Toledo.

Now, I hope to learn a lot from the people here :)
