Brand new to Real Estate Investing in Oklahoma

Hello everybody. My name is Zack Ellard and I live in Owasso, OK. I don't have any real estate investing experience yet but my wife and Iook forward to in the near future. We were married about 10 months ago and both still have houses we bought from when we were still single. The plan is to buy a bigger home for us and our 4 combined children and rent both houses out. In less than six months, we plan to have a great new house and 2 rental properties to start with!! We are currently working on our credit scores and saving for a down payment. Any advice for new real estate investors or from people local to us is greatly appreciated. I have read countless books and listened to a lot of audio on the subject of Real Estate investing but now is the time to finally act! I have a great job at a paper mill however even though it pays well, our schedule flips from days to nights every month! I'm grateful to have the job however at the end my life I want to say I did more. I want to build a fortune and give like no one else can. Look forward to meeting you guys! Zack and Heather
