Hello all! I hope everyone is doing well. I am a bond trader by trade, but have always been extremely interested in real estate investing. I have recently closed on my first real estate sale in Highland Beach, FL. It was a LIVE-IN FLIP on the intracoastal waterway;  Purchased in 2013 - complete kitchen reno, wall demo, new flooring etc., and was able to turn a decent profit on the sale. Which has led me here. 

I have always been in the 'location, location, location' camp with regards to real estate. Growing up in South Florida, WATER has always been the buzzword: Waterfront, water view, water access...Since the sale, I have been searching the landscape, focused exclusively on the Florida east coastline, from the FL Keys, to Fort Lauderdale, all the way up to Jacksonville Beach. 

I am here in search of knowledge, ideas, and conversation that can help guide my next step into the world of 'real' real estate investing. Whether duplex, condos, single family homes - I am very open to any insight you all may have on how to build on this foundation. Thank you all for taking the time! -G
