New to real estate investing from New York City
currently living in new York city and I'm new to real estate investing and I'm here to the forum to network learn as much as I can from other experienced investors. I would like to start in wholesaling and work my way to flipping houses and rental properties. I would like to make real estate investing my new career and leave my current job. Looking to network locally with other investors. Im a more hands on experience learner. All the advice and guidance is welcomed.

Why do you want to start with wholesaling? Is it because all the free ebooks and podcasts say that is the place to start as a beginner?
The "experts" who say the place to start is wholesaling have probably never done much wholesaling, if any.
Material that say it is the place to start is sorely out of date. Wholesaling has evolved into a business all by itself.
Better place to start is as a bird dog for a seasoned investor or wholesaler. You will learn from that person and earn while you do it. Much sounder approach.
