Hello BiggerPockets Community!

I'm currently employed as an engineer at an energy company in downtown Denver, but in 2015 I decided to obtain my real estate broker license on the side, which I acquired and hung at Keller Williams Downtown Denver in December 2015.

I purchased my first primary residence in 2013, which was challenging in the Denver market, but that is what piqued my interest in real estate. Now after 2 years of home ownership and obtaining my real estate broker's license, I'm gearing up to broker some deals as a real estate agent at Keller Williams and purchase my first buy-and-hold investment property.

Over the past month I've been listening to a lot of the BP podcasts, I attended a local BP meeting, I've read multiple real estate books and I've been going through the Keller Williams agent training program. As I learn, I've been networking and building a business plan for my real estate investment aspirations. So far, BP has been an extremely valuable resource for me and I hope to one day feed the machine rather than only take from it. I look forward to this exciting, yet challenging path and I greatly appreciate such an honorable community that BP provides.

Thank you,

Pat de Souza
