Hi all BPers!

I'm Andy, 28, and an orthopedic physical therapist by trade. I first stumbled upon BP from a link on a Whitecoatinvestor.com email newsletter about two months ago as well as the Bogleheads investing forum. It's been nice to experience a widespread yet local community within arms reach after finding local Meetups available in the South Bay/Westside and OC areas. I enjoyed the educational approach of the Meetup as well as learning through the different practical resources available on BP.

I've enjoyed backtracking on some of the podcasts, reading through Ultimate Beginner's Guide, and some of the most helpful blog posts that come to mind have been "Ultimate Guide to Analyzing Rental Properties," "Rental Property Numbers So Easy that You Can Calculate Them on a Napkin," among others. Just ordered Keller's Millionaire Real Estate Investor as well!

Long-term, I am considering the viability of a buy & hold SFR versus MFR approach to diversify my income as well as providing low correlation to my taxable/retirement account index fund holdings. The first forum posts I came across from Google were related to turnkey (which seems to be a polarizing topic on here). Nonetheless, I admire the process of due diligence involved with real estate much like stock fundamental analysis, and look forward in continuing to learn!
