New Couple Moving to Minneapolis

Hi!

We are a young couple ready to enter into the world of real estate investment. We are interested in both flipping houses and owning for passive rental income. We aren’t looking at doing this full-time but, more on the side as we both have full-time jobs. We are interested in first moving close to the MSP area in late May and possibly flipping the house while living in it the first year. We are completely new both to real estate and to Minneapolis. We are looking for a mentor in the area that would be willing to take us under their wing and show us the ropes specifically in the area near the MSP airport all the way down to Rochester. A little bit about us, David is a Pilot for SkyWest Airlines and Rena is finishing up her Doctorate in Engineering with a Post Doctorate to follow at the Mayo Clinic. We are excited about this new chapter in our lives and ready to learn all that BiggerPockets and the networking group have to offer.
