Real Estate Agent seeking financial intelligence!

[Kervens Germain-Philistin]

Hello everyone,

My name is Kervens Germain-Philistin. I want to be more financially intelligent as Robert Kiyosaki illustrates in his book "Rich Dad, Poor Dad." I figured a community like Biggerpockets would allow me the biggest avenue to learn. I am a recent graduate from Florida Atlantic University - having completed and obtained a Bachelors in Business Administration and posses an associates Degree in Nursing.

I am currently employed full time as a Senior project manger for a vocational nursing school, but that is a means to an end. As a newbie real estate agent, I have one client (my mother) who is looking to purchase a house within the next couple months.

It is my goal to learn as much as possible through connections and networks made from Biggerpockets within the upcoming months. I want to learn how others have merged being an agent with being an investor. I am particularly interested in learning more about buying and holding real estate investments.

Any suggestions on books, advice, or network opportunities are welcomed!
