Hello everyone,

My name is Nikki and I live in Wake Forest, NC. My husband and I have been reading up on real estate investing for almost a year now. We wanted to learn a little about it to see if it was the right step for us and that is why I am here. Our goal, as a young couple, is to start investing now. Meeting other investors and hearing about their residual income from rentals and profits from flipping within 15 years made us want to stop talking about real estate and just do real estate. This year we plan on investing in at least 2 homes, one rental and one flip, so we can gain a better understanding of how the process works. We are also interested in meeting investors that we can work with regularly. I learned about this site while taking a course from Brandon Turner on Udemy. I figured I'd give it a try. So far, just browsing through the forums, I am impressed with the amount of social interaction and useful information from experienced investors.
