Hello BP!

My name is Duncan MacDonald and I moved to Bend about five months ago. I'm originally from Lousiana (business and law at LSU), spent a couple years ski bumming in Whitefish Montana, worked at Microsoft for a decade, shifted to eastern Washington with a small biotech firm and finally landed in central Oregon. Seriously love this area and planning to stay for the long haul which is at least until my 3 year old moves out of the house :)

I have some real estate experience but am brand new to real estate investing. Despite that and limited local knowledge I'm sincere about rapidly building competence and developing a model that scales quickly. To that end I've been reading my *** off, listening to podcasts and cruising BP. I constantly hear Brandon's admonitions to "take action" and hope to be confident doing so sometime here in the first quarter of 2016.

Would love to hear from you anytime. I have a lot to learn about real estate investing and need all the perspective I can get. Happy to share whatever value I can (I'm good at business, people and process management) or answer questions. I've had great luck building strong teams that accomplished incredible things in my professional life and am hoping to do the same thing in this arena.
