Hi All,

My name is George, I'm a new member with little/no real estate investment experience, currently living in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I started working as an electrical engineer 3 years ago and have been living in Baton Rouge for about 2 years. I have done a bit of research on this area in purchasing a home, and have since become interested in buying rental properties. My hope is to buy my first rental property when I feel I've learned enough to jump in, and then acquire more rental properties over time. It's great to find a community here with so many articles, podcasts, etc. to learn from.

My next steps are to learn more about the area around me and try to identify the Class "B" areas. Looking forward to being a part of this community, and thanks!
